Ok, I know it's niave as hell to even ask, but is anyone else reading this stuff? Some people are saying that mixing a specific amount of sugar with turpentine (yes, paint thinner), ingesting it, and washing down with water is apparently a great way to lure out and drive candida out of the body. I'm not saying it works. I'm not saying I'd recommend it (obviously, I haven't done it myself). I just want to know everyone's thoughts on it. Also, this is a vague description of the procedure, so please don't follow it.

This "cure" would cause death when ingested in significant quantities. Or permanent kidney- and brain damage.

From Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turpentine

"Hazards

Turpentine is an organic solvent. Its vapor can irritate the skin and eyes, damage the lungs and respiratory system, as well as the central nervous system when inhaled, and cause renal failure when ingested, among other things. Being combustible, it also poses a fire hazard."

I also don't think it would do anything to cure Candida.

And I suspect that Turpentine, being a mixture of terpenes, would be at least mildly carcinogenic as well.

I know that some people become desperate. My husband was one of those. But he did his due diligence before ingesting a variety of industrial pest control chemicals such as Azoxystrobin and Carbendazim. He also experimented with large quantities of pure Sulphur in powder form. None of it had any effect on his Candida, but at least there wasn't any detectable impairment to his health either (he was doing liver panels etc. at that time.)
